ABOUT

Miranda is a cartoonist and designer based in Los Angeles. After graduating from the California Institute of the Arts in 2011 with a BFA in Character Animation, her work has been featured on screen, in print, and exhibited in galleries worldwide. She is most known for her Post-It note cartoons and short comics, and has worked extensively in TV animation as a character designer, layout artist, and background painter since 2012, with Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Sony, and Warner Bros., among others. She is a former resident of la Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême, France.

Her first book “Unimpressed”, a collection of nearly 200 one-liner cartoons, was published by Fantagraphics in October 2021. Currently, Miranda is working as a painter on the Netflix series Long Story Short, which premiered in 2025.
